The Thang 

The inspiration for today’s ruck is Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

Pax started with a brisk ½ mile ruck. Upon completion pax scooped up a cinderblock and commenced to do coupon work;

  • 10x Inclined Diamond Cutter Merkins
  • 10x Lateral Step ups (each side)
  • 10x Declined Diamond Cutter Merkins
  • 10x Over Head Squats
  • 10x Dips

Pax set aside coupons and then rucked an additional ¼ mile.

Coupon work commenced again;

  • 10x Inclined Diamond Cutter Merkins
  • 10x Lateral Step ups (each side)
  • 10x Declined Diamond Cutter Merkins
  • 10x Over Head Squats
  • 10x Dips

Pax then scooped up our coupons and farmer carried for ¼ mile. Group was feeling strong and mumble chatter was thick…then Q continued farmer carries for ANOTHER ¼ mile!!? Faster pax picked up 6 and helped carry blocks. Entire pax crossed finish line TOGETHER!!!

Lesson: We all may have issues/problems in our life (like the coupons) they may slow us down but there is hope and help to cross the finish line with a Band of Brothers.  We were not designed to do life alone!
